What is High Voltage PVD?

Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD) is a process in which a solid material is vaporized in a vacuum and deposited onto the surface of a part. The PVD coatings for wheels typically are Titanium, Graphite, Stainless Steel but may contain Brass, Copper, Aluminum or Zinc. The chosen metal is not shaved off in thin veneers but rather is vaporized in a PVD vacuum chamber and deposited atom by atom to form a thin, bonded surface layer using gases such as Argon. A PVD surface greatly improves the appearance and durability of the wheel.

AutoXcel now offers Physical Vapor Deposition (PVD)
